An American man visiting the UK has admitted that he didn't think he would find 'good food' in Britain, but has been pleasantly surprised.
Kalani Smith, who goes by @kalanighosthunter on TikTok, is an influencer and YouTuber who creates content about paranormal activity - he boasts almost three million followers on the social media app.
However, since being in the UK, he's also captured the interest of millions by filming himself trying a variety of different British cuisines - from fish and chips in St. Andrews to a Sunday roast in London.
The American recently hit back at those who have been slamming British food in the comments of his videos, by insisting the food here is 'delicious' - despite most people from the US assuming it's bad.
His video has already been seen by more than 118,000 people and racked up over 600 comments.
An American man who's visiting the UK has admitted that he didn't think he would find 'good food' in Britain, but has been pleasantly surprised
Kalani told his followers: 'Okay, we gotta[sic] talk about this sentiment right here about British food.
'If you're not familiar with me - I'm an American and I came to the UK for the first time in January of this year.
'Now, I'm gonna be completely honest with you. I did not think I was going to come to the UK and find good food, I really didn't.
'What's important is that I kept an open mind and wanted to try as much as I could before I came to a conclusion.'
He insisted: 'Now, I'm currently on my second tour here in the UK and what I can tell you is they have some incredible food.
'Is everything that I've had been a 10/10? Absolutely not, but it's not even that way in America.
'I think the rhetoric has been passed down generation from generation and we all just assume the food in the UK is bad because that's what we've been told.
'But as a well-experienced, fat American, what I can tell you is they have delicious stuff.'

Moving onto specifics, the American revealed: 'Now, I will level with you - they have got a lot of different meat, a lot of different pies, a lot of different meat pies, but there's so much more to the food culture here than just meat pies.
'And another thing - beans on toast is delicious. You just have to have the right beans, the right toast, and I like throwing cheese on.'
He admitted: 'I never thought I would say this but I have actually fallen in love with the UK and the people.
'I will say it takes a little bit for them to warm up to you but once they do, they're just as nice as people down south in the US.
'So the next time you want to say that all the food in the UK is bad just go watch a video, because I have had orgasmic food.'
Brits and Americans alike flooded the comments with their own opinions about UK foods.
One fan penned: 'Can't beat a British sausage. Lincolnshire sausages are absolutely goated [sic] and we have some of the best cheeses in the world.'
A second revealed: 'I watched an American YouTubers vlog and she said she couldn't find any good food in the UK because it was all just 'cold cuts of meat'. I'm still so confused about that.'

Meanwhile, a third remarked: 'The UK has an incredibly complex, diverse and intriguing palate.'
Someone else insisted: 'My wife was from Memphis and agrees that British food is better! Plus the meat has flavour.'
A fifth added: 'I travel for business all over Europe. I was in Barcelona two weeks ago for example. I can honestly say that you if go to an equivalent quality restaurant in the UK and elsewhere, it's the same quality.'
Others chimed in with: 'You’re an honorary Brit now' and 'You can officially now have your Honorary Brit Badge'.
Another Brit explained: 'I think the rep came from US soldiers based here in WW2 returning to the US, but the UK had been at war for years by time the US got involved and had rationing. Food was probably bland then as no spices or variety.'
Other foodies recommended: 'Stick a fried egg on top of your beans on toast!' and 'Scotland has great beef, seafood, and of course whiskey.'
Someone else added: 'Glad you're enjoying the UK. It's always great to hear about eateries we've maybe never heard of and you're trying on our behalf. Keep it up.'
It comes just after an American woman racked up views online for confessing that she's obsessed with British culture.
From Geordie Shore and TOWIE, to Tinie Tempah and The Office - Podcast host Fatou, from Los Angeles, admits she grew up desperate to be from the UK, so immersed herself in everything to do with the country.
Her music taste, TV shows she watched and even her celebrity crushes were all British-influenced - so much so that people online are calling for her to be named an 'honorary Brit'.
A TikTok she posted under handle @fa2chainz, revealing her fascination, has already been seen by more than 1.2million people.
The American captioned the clip: 'I'm English babes, I don't care. I love those beans on toast people!'
